NOTE: recently we have seen an increase in the number of Distance Learning/Correspondence Courses being submitted for Membership.

Please note that these courses DO NOT qualify for Membership.

They also DO NOT qualify for insurance cover through the ARCHTI group insurance scheme with BALENS.

It is in your own interest that you check out the Practitioner status of any qualification before you embark on this form of study by enquiring from the various Therapy Associations if they would accept you for membership and you should ask the various Insurance Companies if they would provide you with Practitioner Insurance with the qualifications you are being offered for study.

Common sense should dictate that in order to practice complementary therapies you need Professional Tutors trained and accredited in the form of therapy you wish to practice who will provide you with actual "hands on" class-format training, practical work, case studies and workshops in order to qualify as a Complementary Health Therapist/Practitioner.
